GSP Renewal Included in Omnibus Spending Bill
Posted on Mar 22
The Omnibus spending bill released today includes
retroactive renewal of GSP until December 31, 2020. The Omnibus spending
package is a compromise measure that must be passed before midnight on Friday
to prevent a government shutdown. President Trump grudgingly expressed support
for the package, although the votes in the House and Senate will be close.
