The V. Alexander Team in Nashville spread the love again …

Posted on Mar 5

Last year we collected 333 jars of Peanut Butter to support Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee in their annual February “Spread The Love” event, and we were hoping to reach 500 jars this year – boy were we wrong.

By the end of the month we had collected the equivalent of 1,500 18oz jars of Peanut Butter in all different varieties – a tremendous success for us, supported by some Team Challenges and matches by two of our executives.

We initially wanted to take a picture of our haul that had involved some intricate rearranging of the jars, but after Monday’s tornado we decided that the Peanut Butter was urgently needed at the food bank so we took only some bare-bone pics of the collection area in our break room

and the final moment on the scale at SHFB where we weighed in at almost 1,800 lbs that now support SHFB’s mission in the hardest hit areas of Nashville and the surrounding counties affected.
