Changes to the Generalized System of Preferences (GSP)

Presidential Proclamation 9813, issued on October 30, went into effect November 1, 2018.
The proclamation implements changes to the Generalized System of Preferences (GSP) by removing the eligibility of certain goods for preferential duty treatment and makes changes to Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) classifications.
