We support charities through Tailgate for a Cause and for
this game, our cause is centered on our military personnel. Should you wish to
participate, we are supporting two charities:
Journey Home Project: They work to bring awareness and
support to those who are a part of a soldier’s journey home from a tour of
service. Their mission is to Return, Rehabilitate and Reintegrate veterans
after returning from duty.
A Soldiers Child: Their mission is to serve the children of
fallen military personnel who have given their lives on active duty while
defending the United States of America. Three primary points of service: 1) Birthday
Celebrations; 2) Mentorship Programs; 3) College Scholarships

This seminar focuses on an importer’s Customs compliance
issues and responsibilities, including basic classification and valuation of
imported products and record keeping as mandated by the Customs Modernization
Act. Upon completion, each participant should have a basic understanding of the
import process and of his/her firm’s compliance obligations to CBP.
Who should attend: important information for import,
logistics, sourcing, purchasing, accounting, and compliance personnel. This is
great program for everyone who works with imports. Previous attendees have said
about this seminar:
“Very beneficial and learned more than I expected.”
“Everything was very well organized, great job on the
presentation and materials.”
“Lots of good tips and information.”
Having staff members attend seminars like “The Basics of
Importing” can prevent unpleasant surprises and penalties. U.S. Customs law and regulations clearly
include the requirement that importers exercise “reasonable care” in
the management of their import processes. This is one way to demonstrate your
good intentions to CBP and other government agencies.
